It is always good to introduce music at a young age. This book is useful for learning basic concepts of classical music such as sur (komal, shuddha), taal, thaat, etc engagingly and entertainingly. Traditionally Indian classical music has put very little attention to the lyrics of the compositions and as a result, most compositions that are taught to children are quite unrelated to their world (like saas-nanad stories or virah compositions), this makes it harder for children to associate with the compositions.
This book includes songs based on certain thaats but on the topics from the children's world like trains, diwali, moon etc. which are easy to learn.
